Golf Trips in Maui

Spectacular views, stunning weather, amazing courses and luxury accommodation. These are just some of the benefits that you can expect if you take advantage of one of the many golf trips in Maui. This lovely island boasts some of the most beautiful golf courses in the world and is an ideal destination if you are looking for great golf alongside great scenery. The wonderful climate here will also ensure that you will not be disappointed. You will not have to worry about bad weather stopping your round of golf.
If you are interested in golf trips, Maui is an ideal destination. If, however, your spouse is not interested in golf, Maui is, again, an ideal destination. You cannot lose. With such stunning scenery and such a variety of activities on offer, you will find that members of your party who are not quite as keen to spend their day on the golf course will have plenty of other ways to pass their time.
There are over 20 golf courses on the islands which make up Maui with at least 15 of these being on Maui Island itself. Several of these are ranked very highly in the worldwide rankings for many categories. Many of these are part of resorts and when you book a holiday at the resort you will often find that you can find a package which includes golf. These packages can vary considerably. Some will offer unlimited rounds at a time to suit you, whereas others may have a limit to the course times and number of rounds. When it comes to golf trips, Maui will probably be able to offer you a package that will enable you to play as much golf as you wish but be sure to check exactly what is on offer and what you are paying for. Sometimes it can be very costly if you do not read the small print and find that you are limited to tee times or replays.
If you would rather arrange your holiday independently and not stay in one of Mauis all inclusive resorts, you will still have a choice of courses available. The island does have four independent courses as well as all the resort golfing facilities. However, most of the resort courses are available for the use of non-residents, at a charge.
As I have mentioned, the wonderful golfing resorts of Maui are by no means restricted to golfers and if you are not really interested in golf trips, Maui still has lots to offer. There are a great many other facilities and a non-golfing spouse or partner will never be left with nothing to do. Many of the hotels and resorts offer tennis and there are some stunning pools in the majority of the resorts. You will also find spa and beauty facilities at most places. If you are keen to burn up some calories then you will find that there are some hotels which have lovely jogging and walking trails laid out through picturesque and scenic routes. Maui can also boast some of the most wonderful beaches perfect for those who are looking for a more relaxing vacation.
